The repair & maintenance call centre
At Magna Housing Association we provide a 24 hour emergency repair service 365 days of the year.
The call centre is open:
8.30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday
8.30am - 4.30pm Friday
This is for routine and emergency calls, if you ring outside these times then it is for emergencies only.
Featured department - ground maintenance
Our grounds maintenance team is lead by Phil Ford who has been with Magna for 12 years and works tirelessly in organising his team, from grass cutting to complete landscaping of areas.
The following pictures have been taken recently showing the marvellous work under taken by the grounds maintenance team who are: Fred Hawker, Geoff Penny, Nick Hallett, Toby Follett, Paul Brewer, Dave White, Alex Gibson and Dave Warr. The team look after all the sheltered housing sites along with grass and hedge cutting and landscaping communal areas.
Lubbecke Way, Dorchester
The communal gardens in Lubbecke Way have been revamped using ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs. Phil Ford leads the way by setting an example that even the foreman gets his hands dirty!
Vernons Court, Bridport
At Vernons Court in Bridport, the pathway was very over grown so after clearing away all the weeds we replanted the beds with ornimental grasses and flowering shrubs.
Victory Court, Dorchester
