Resident involvement

Our residents are involved in decision making at all levels, from residents sitting on our management boards and our network of community representatives across our area, to the surveys and mystery shopping our residents complete.

Resident involvement Manager and Community Connections members

Our Resident Involvement Manager’s role is to involve you, our residents. The manager does this in a number of ways, including helping Community Connections, the strategic group of residents, to discuss what we do well and what we could do better to improve your community.

Community Initiative Fund

We supply a budget of £150,000  to fund projects to enhance the quality of life in local neighbourhoods. There is a forum who work with the Community Development Manager to choose how to spend the money for the benefit of other residents.  There are site visits and consultations with residents - examples include home security initiatives, cycle barriers and even resolving parking problems.

We are looking for more ideas and we urge you to tell your housing officer, the community development manager or community representative (MHA) to put forward your suggestions. You can also e-mail residentinvolvement@magna.org.uk to put forward suggestions.
