Working together to get the job done!

This year the first of April sees Magna launch Community Connections; a new initiative which will enable residents to have more influence. When Community Connections is launched it will be the new way for our residents to work in partnership with Magna.

The aim of Community Connections is to support the Board and staff of MHA, and influence services for residents by working positively in partnership. In addition to the others ways of working with Magna, Community Connections will work with senior managers on strategy, policy, performance and benchmarking. In time the group will also be involved in scrutinising our services to make sure they're up to scratch.

The group members will be 11 elected/nominated residents and will have a constitution to govern and guide them.

The time of the launch is 10 - 12 followed by lunch for those who wish to stay.  An announcement will be made to say who the members are. Some will be selected from the community connections steering group.
