Susan Butler steps up to the new challenge of Chair of the MHA Finance Committee

Life has been busy for Susan Butler since joining Magna Housing Association (MHA) last July as MHA Board Member and it’s now likely to get even more so as Susan steps up to the new challenge of Chair of the MHA Finance Committee.
Susan brings a wealth of experience to the role and is excited about her new task.  She says “MHA has made sound business decisions during the recession.  We now aim to further strengthen its financial position so that it serves existing and future residents for many decades to come”.
Susan’s experience is an impressive read.  After graduating from Cambridge University as a Mathematician, then London School of Economics with an MSC (Distinction) in Operational Research, Susan has continued to gain notable experience in the strategic and analytical fields.
Whilst employed by British Airways (BA)  from 1988 to 2008 Susan worked on the strategy for BA.com and set up an internet trade exchange with 8 other airlines.  She was also responsible for the analysis of which aircraft BA should purchase.
During her time at BA she undertook a huge amount of analysis and corporate strategy, so taking up the reins of MHA Finance Committee Chair is clearly a smart move for all.
