Tenant Board Membership

Magna Housing Group provides homes to rent and buy in Dorset, Devon and Somerset.

As a tenant, you probably already know that Magna is a group of not-for-profit housing businesses regulated by the Tenant Services Authority (TSA) and owns 8,000 homes, employs 330 staff and has an annual turnover in excess of £30 million. 

The Associations in the Magna Housing Group of companies are Magna Housing Group Limited, and its subsidiaries, Magna Housing Association Limited and Magna West Somerset Housing Association Limited.  Each Association has its own board.  Magna Housing Association Limited is the biggest operating arm of the group.

Magna welcomes applications from tenants for board membership of its two subsidiary boards: Magna Housing Association Limited and Magna West Somerset Housing Association Limited, which are made up of a mix of tenant and independent members, all with different backgrounds.

If you are keen to take part in guiding Magna’s business and are able to communicate and act in a non-executive capacity, we would be interested in hearing from you.

The Boards usually meet seven times a year.  For Magna Housing Association Limited, this is a Monday morning, for Magna West Somerset Housing Association Limited, early evening on a Tuesday.
