 Mr Ian Bullock Chairman

Mr Ian Bullock
Chair

Mr Ian Bullock (Chair) was formerly General Manager and Head of the Woolwich Retail Network, a Member of the Management Committee of Woolwich Plc and Chairman of the Woolwich Pension Fund. Following its take-over by Barclays, he managed the integration of Woolwich Plc into the Barclays Group as Director of Human Resources.  Ian joined the Board of Magna Housing Association Limited in 2008, and is currently its Chair and a Non-executive Director of Charter (S.W.) Limited. He was nominated to serve on the Board of Magna Housing Group Limited in 2009 and also serves on its Audit Committee. 

 

Tim Ayre


Mr Tim Ayre

Mr Tim Ayre is a qualified Urban Estate Surveyor, providing specialist advice to those involved in the commercial property sector. His principal activities are strategy formulation and review, portfolio analysis and investment appraisal and advice on sales and purchases, structuring of transactions, asset management and managing acquisition/disposal processes. Tim joined MHA’s Development and Finance Committees in 2009 and was appointed to serve on the Board of MHA in 2010.

 

 

Peter Body


Mr Peter Body

Mr Peter Body joined the Board of Magna Housing Association Limited (MHA) in 2007 and has served on the Board of Magna Housing Group Limited.  He was a founding member of a tenant association and former Chair of MHA’s Northern Area Residents’ Panel.  Peter represents MHA at the Dorset County Tenants Federation and is Chair of the Residents’ Design Panel and a Beaminster Town Councillor.  He trained as a draughtsman and his former profession was as a freelance set designer for film and television. 

 

 

Gerald Burdess

 
Mr Gerald Burdess

Mr Gerald Burdess is an engineer. His career has spanned work in mining and construction, including a period working overseas and management of his own transport business. Gerald joined the Board of Magna Housing Association Limited in 2010.  

 

 

Steve Gough

 

Ms Susan Butler

Ms Susan Butler is a Mathematician and a Change Specialist and has experience in strategic and analytical fields gained during her career with British Airways (BA).  She was the Programme Manager for the commercial introduction of a fourth Cabin, World Traveller Plus and the author of BA's original internet strategy.  Susan joined the Board of Magna Housing Association Limited in 2009 and was appointed Chair of its Finance Committee in 2010.

  

Ron Crook



Mr Ron Crook

Mr Ron Crook is a senior civil engineer and former District Council Director of Community Services, a Primary Care Trust Non executive Director and Audit Committee Chair. His experience spans a wide range of local government construction and redevelopment projects, property and asset management and the establishment and development of NHS joint community planning and working partnerships.  He joined the Board of Magna Housing Association Limited in 2009 and also serves on its Finance and Development Committees.

 

James Fisher
Mr James Fisher

Mr James Fisher has over 40 years experience in mechanical engineering and in the construction industry, involving project management, health and safety, facilities management, audits of  health and safety and construction design and management regulations, mechanical engineering reviews and sssessments and HR and is an EcoHomes Registered Assessor and CDM Co-ordinator.  James joined MHA’s Development and Finance Committees in 2009 and was appointed to serve on the Board of MHA in 2010.

 

 
Steve Gough

 

Mr Steve Gough

Mr Steve Gough has been a university lecturer in Housing Studies for 8 years. Previously he worked in housing practice for 20 years.  Since 2005, Steve has served on the Board of Magna Careline Limited and the Audit Committee. He joined the Board of Magna Housing Association Limited in 2006 and was nominated to serve on the Board of Magna Housing Group Limited in 2009.

 

 

Ms Vikki Harman

In November 2011, Ms Vikki Harman was appointed to serve on the Board of Magna Housing Association Limited. Susan Ross-Anderson


Ms Suzanne Ross-Anderson

Ms Suzanne Ross-Anderson is Head of Service for a Drug and Alcohol agency operating in Bournemouth & Poole and nationally, having previous work experience with Dorset Education Authority and Social Services.  Suzanne is the current Chair of the Bournemouth Treatment and Housing Task Group (commissioned by the Drug and Alcohol Action Team, Adult Services), an approved lecturer with Bath University and an external supervisor for the YMCA National College.  She joined the Board of Magna Housing Association Limited in 2010. 

  

Anne-Marie Vincent



Ms Anne-Marie Vincent
Vice Chair

Ms Anne-Marie Vincent (Vice Chair) is a Diversity Consultant.  Until its closure in 2007, she occupied a senior policy role with the Commission for Racial Equality.  Anne-Marie is Chair of the South West Dorset Multi-Cultural Network, Co-Chair of the Dorset Forum for Equality and Diversity, Director of West Dorset Sports Trust, Governor of two schools, involved with the Local Area Partnership at Bridport and Bridport Town Councillor.  Following service on the Board of Magna Careline Limited, she joined the Board of Magna Housing Association Limited in 2008, was elected its Vice Chair in 2010 and also serves on its Finance Committee.
